Appraisals

An appraisal is a comprehensive document that has all pieces being appraised separately and assigns value for each piece individually. A detailed description, style, period (if applicable), method of manufacturing, any trademarks or identification, stamps, metal type, Karat, and color are listed for each piece. The weight of the piece is also listed in grams. Gemstones, if mounted, are listed with their pieces; otherwise they are listed separately. Diamonds have their actual or estimated weight (depending on size), cut, color, clarity and fluorescence listed. Colored stones have approximate or actual weight (depending on size, color description, cut, and Transparency) listed. All pieces and loose gemstones are digitally photographed and are printed with its description. All appraisals are signed, legal documents that are only appropriate for their intended purpose (i.e. insurance, estate, etc.)
